Happy Spending... and Holidays! | Typographical Poster
This project that began in late November was based around the idea of designing a typographical poster that would help poke fun at the almost-inescapable task of having to go Christmas shopping, by the way of expressing a certain kind of season greeting that would not only humour the viewer, but somewhat insult them in a more intentionally naïve-driven manner.
As you will see, the idea has been carried out by the use of many typographical elements that not only act as verbal dialogue, but also act as illustration content (as evident by the dollar sign taking form as the Christmas tree and decorations), alongside basic illustration content itself such as cent coins, multi-coloured illumination lights and a grey line to signify ground level, via simple shapes and downloaded vector art.
So, be sure to tell me what you think in the comment section below!
